Agio Oros is a "Autonomous Monastic State" inside Greece, (unique in the world), in the peninsula of Athos of Chalkidiki in Macedonia, that is considered centre of Orthodoxe monasticism.
It is considered by the most important departments not only Balkan, but Europe and the Eastern Church as centre of maintenance of very rich material because of its big national, historical, religious, secretarial and artistic value.
Truly it is considered a shelter and museum of unique treasure of Greek art and letters.
